Looking for an inspHire alternative? Start with the product you use now
HireLogic is equipment hire software for independent businesses that want one browser product, a published price list and a guided route away from their current system.
If you are replacing inspHire Office, the current Klipboard name to look for is OnRent Office. If you are buying for a small or medium hire business today, OnRent Go is the closer comparison with HireLogic. Keeping those products separate matters because their buying routes, deployment requirements and published prices differ.
HireLogic keeps that decision smaller: one browser-based product from £99 a month, no long-term contract and guided onboarding. Optional retail, workshop and e-commerce modules each have a published monthly price, so you can calculate the total before a demo.
OnRent Go is also cloud-based and aimed at small and medium businesses. Its Core price is public, but the Premier and Enterprise prices are not. Several capabilities on its product page are not assigned to a published package, so their price has to be established with Klipboard.
For OnRent Office, Klipboard publishes two deployment facts that need to be read together. Its current product page calls the platform cloud-based, while its current system-requirements page specifies a Windows installation, Microsoft SQL Server and a data server. Klipboard also offers to host and manage an existing inspHire environment in the cloud.
That infrastructure can change the total commitment substantially. A customer-managed OnRent Office or OnRent One setup can involve servers, Windows and SQL software, Remote Desktop or virtual-desktop infrastructure, backup handling and network changes, followed by patching and ongoing IT support. Klipboard-managed hosting moves much of that work into a monthly service, but the price is not public. HireLogic requires none of that customer-side application infrastructure.
- One HireLogic product running in the browser
- Published pricing from £99 a month including 2 users
- Monthly agreement with no long-term contract
- Optional modules priced publicly at £25 a month
- Guided setup, training and support included
- Live in under 48 hours for a straightforward product list

How we sourced this comparison
Last verified: 14 August 2026. Every objective competitor claim came from Klipboard's own OnRent Go, OnRent Office and OnRent One pages, OnRent Go's pricing, features and setup pages, the current system-requirements page or the cloud-hosting page. No review site or third-party comparison supplies a table cell.
OnRent Go, OnRent Office and OnRent One are kept separate throughout. When a product page publishes a capability but the pricing page does not assign it to a plan, the feature table says that its packaging or price is not published.
Klipboard calls OnRent Office cloud-based, while its system-requirements page specifies installed Windows and Microsoft SQL Server software. Both statements are included because they describe different parts of the available deployment route.

For Klipboard's hire products, yes. HireLogic is closest in fit to OnRent Go for an independent small or medium hire business, and it is also an alternative for an existing inspHire or OnRent Office customer considering a move. This page does not compare Klipboard's products for other industries.
What hardware do HireLogic and the OnRent products require?
